Fun pattern but quality issues

I love this pattern and had fun doing it. That said, I had issues with the floss included. First, there was not enough floss for some colors (especially for all the satin stitches and woven wheels). Thankfully, I had leftover floss from other projects I could use. Second, the floss was low quality and difficult to work with. Certain colors literally fell apart while I was stitching. For the price of the kit, I expected higher quality supplies.

The instructions recommend 3 strands for all stitches. I'd suggest 2 so you don't run out of floss.

Complete beginner - loved it!

Having seen some ads for various embroidery kits, I decided I’d try it out as something to do instead of doomscrolling. Think I landed here based on a subreddit, and I’m glad I did! I really enjoyed the kit. The combo of pattern and video was for the most part easy to follow, and the bits where I got a tiny bit confused weren’t hard to figure out. I like that there are a variety of stitches in the pattern, so I learned a lot. It gave me the confidence to buy some supplies myself and create my own little floral design. I’ll definitely be buying more kits in the future!

Great sampler for beginners!

All the tools I needed to start my embroidery journey! The order included a beginner's guide to the stitches I needed (and more!), and there was a video tutorial to help me when I got stuck.

A great gift!

I ordered the starter kit for a friend for her birthday and it was a big hit! I had reached out after the order to note that it was a gift and ask if they could not include a receipt with the price on it. Not only did Jessica get back to me right away, but she offered to include a little note for my friend, which was such a nice touch. I'll definitely order from Jessica Long Embroidery again!

Great project for a beginner

Jessica's instructions made it really easy to understand how I should tackle this design as a beginner, and I loved that this particular kit gave me room to play and add french knots as I wanted to for a slight variation on the design that didn't feel overwhelming. There was also more than enough embroidery thread so I didn't feel stressed about being perfect or worried about running out of threads.
