High quality, wooden embroidery hoop with smooth round edges and a brass closure. The closure is notched so your can tighten the hoop using a screw driver to get perfect tension on your fabric. If you need more tension try wrapped one or both hoop with strips of fabric or fabric tape.

DIMENSIONS (there may be slight variations between hoops):
- "4 inch": 4.6 inch outer diameter of outer hoop, 3.8 inch inner diameter of inner hoop.
- "5 inch": 5.4 inch outer diameter of outer hoop, 4.6 inch inner diameter of inner hoop.
- "6 inch": 6.5 inch outer diameter of outer hoop, 5.8 inch inner diameter of inner hoop.
- "7 inch": 7.5 inch outer diameter of outer hoop, 6.7 inch inner diameter of inner hoop.
- "8 inch": 8.6 inch outer diameter of outer hoop, 8.0 inch inner diameter of inner hoop.
- Oval "5 x 8 inch": ~ 5.2 x 8.2 inch outer diameter of outer hoop, 4.5 x 7.5 inch inner diameter of inner hoop.
Great quality - it tightened exactly how I needed it, and never budged through my whole project. These are a huge step up from what I got at a big-box craft store!
These are a Huge upgrade from my beginner/craft store hoops - they stay completely tight, and are incredibly sturdy. I love them!
Thanks for the wonderful embroidery hoops. Was having trouble finding those sizes until I found your website. Love how you had everything packaged so inviting. An extra touch which is always noticed. And, says a lot about the owner of the business. Needed them for a special project for my first great-granddaughter. Now I have to get busy - shadow embroidery project!! Thanks again. I love these embroidery hoops. While I waited for these to arrive in the mail, I got impatient, so I started working on my piece with a cheaper hoop from a big box retailer, and I had forgotten how much I hate those cheap hoops-- my fabric kept shifting in the hoop, and I found it hard to tighten the screw. THESE hoops are nice and sturdy, and my fabric doesn't slide around while I use them. Plus, the nicer wood and gold hardware make them look better for display.
I received these hoops and they are absolutely wonderful. They keep your fabric drum tight. I will never use another bamboo embroidery hoop again except for decorating and displaying my work after it’s finished. I have all sizes now. They are well worth the money.
