This funny craft kit makes a great gift for crafty friends and family, no matter their needlepoint experience.
The embroidery kit includes:
- White cotton fabric, printed with the design. These guidelines are permanent.
- One 5 inch hand embroidery hoop
- Hand embroidery needles
- A floss card with 12 colors of DMC cotton hand embroidery floss.
- The color printed embroidery pattern
- A copy of the Beginner Guide
The embroidery pattern includes a color and stitch key with DMC floss numbers, suggested stitch order, and the design ready to trace for future project.
The beginner guide includes a supplies list with suggested products based off of my experience, tips on how to get started, including pattern transfer suggestions for future projects, plus diagrams of stitches. The beginner guide can also be found online here plus you can find some additional tutorials here.
My kits do not include hand embroidery scissors but I do offer a selection.

My son got me this kit for Christmas, and even though it was only my second embroidery project ever, it was super easy and came out beautifully. Highly recommended!
I’m new to the embroidery world but having a lot of fun! I chose this kit because the colors caught my eye and I thought the words were cute. I can tell you it is taking me forever! Ha. Very relaxing though. The thread in this kit is of very good quality. The flowers look like satin and the needle provided in the kit are easy to thread which I contribute to the thread quality.
This was a gift for my daughter. She's loved it but hasn't tried it yet (just got it yesterday). I found this through a recommendation Wirecutter in the NYT who gave it a good recommendation.
