Such a lovely bouquet! These forever flowers are perfect to stitch for yourself or to give as a gift. This pattern features fun woven wheel roses, French knots and other dynamic stitches. In addition, the design offers you an opportunity to practice your thread painting skills! It's a lovely combination of textures and color for you to practice your hand embroidery repertoire.  

Your kit includes:

  • Fabric stamped with the design. Please see the photos. 
  • 6 inch beechwood hand embroidery hoop
  • 14 colors of DMC embroidery floss, organized on a thread card
  • Embroidery needles (two for full stranded work, 2 for thread painting)
  • The color printed embroidery instructions 
  • A copy of the Beginner Guide

 

Your purchase includes the Floral Harvest embroidery pattern and a copy of my beginner guide. The embroidery pattern includes written instructions and suggested stitch order, stitch and color keys, and a color close up photo of the completed embroidery art. The beginner guide includes a supplies list with suggested products based off of my experience, tips on how to get started, including pattern transfer suggestions for future projects, plus diagrams of stitches. The beginner guide can also be found online here with helpful videos, plus you can find some additional tutorials here. 

 

My kits do not include hand embroidery scissors but I do offer a selection.

    She loved it!!

    I purchased an embroidery kit for my niece for Christmas and added in the stork scissors. The items were packaged beautifully, and my niece was delighted with her gift. I plan to order again. This time, for myself!

    Beautiful design, but the way the floss was packaged made it extremely difficult to use as they kept getting tangled. I ended up creating my own bobbins to wrap each color around and make it easier. It would be much better if the floss was labeled on individual bobbins. They don’t have to be fancy by any means, simple cardstock would do. I was so annoyed and frustrated by the initial packaging, I had to dock a star.

    Instructions were mostly clear. This is my very first attempt at embroidery. Probably a little bit more difficult than other kits, but it does teach a variety of stitches, which I love!
