Explore, uncover and discover your stitching talents with this amazing hand embroidery kit. The fabric is stamped with the full design in color, but you will also find an alphabet in the instructions so you can create your own custom embroidery hoop art with this unique landscape lettering in the future. Your kit also includes an embroidery hoop (please select the size from the drop down menu), hand embroidery needles and 16 different colors of 6-stranded DMC embroidery floss. Choose from a floss card with cut lengths of DMC six-stranded embroidery floss (available for the 5 inch size only) or full skeins of floss.
This design features satin stitch, long and short stitch, French knots, straight stitch and back stitch. Some of the details are very tiny (especially when resized for a 5 inch hoop) but it is accessible for beginners with patience. This embroidery pattern will help you practice precision and color management, and you'll have a gorgeous piece of embroidery art when you are finished.

The embroidery instructions include a color key with DMC floss numbers, a two page color and stitch key for all three habitats, step-by-step instructions for stitching the design, the EXPLORE UNCOVER DISCOVER design sized for a 9 inch (22.9 cm) hoop, ready to print. Please resize as needed. Plus you'll find a full alphabet to create your own text with any of the three habitats.
The beginner guide includes a supplies list with suggested products based off of my experience, tips on how to get started, including pattern transfer suggestions for future projects, plus diagrams of stitches.
