Giraffe Embroidery Kit

Do you just love giraffes and need one in your life? Or maybe this sweetie is the perfect addition for a nursery wall?  It really doesn't matter because giraffes are amazing and why not embroider one yourself, right?

The floral stitches are easy but the giraffe itself has a little added complexity with the "thread painting" technique using long and short stitch.  There is no video for this pattern but you may find it useful to check out some of my other thread painting videos on Youtube, like this one or this one if the technique is new to you.  

Your kit includes:

• 12 skeins of DMC embroidery floss
• White cotton fabric, stamped with the full color design
• One 6 inch beechwood hand embroidery hoop
• Embroidery needles
• The color printed embroidery instructions 
• A copy of the Beginner Guide

Your purchase includes the Giraffe embroidery pattern and a copy of my beginner guide. The embroidery pattern includes stitch and color keys for the giraffe and florals, a complete shopping list with suggested DMC embroidery floss colors, and a color close up photo of stitched pattern. The pattern (line drawing) to reuse for future projects is available (hard copy and/or PDF) is available upon request (Jessica@JesssicaLongEmbroidery.com)

The beginner guide includes a supplies list with suggested products based off of my experience, tips on how to get started, including pattern transfer suggestions for future projects, plus diagrams of stitches. The beginner guide can also be found online here with helpful videos, plus you can find some additional tutorials here. 

My kits do not include hand embroidery scissors but I do offer a selection.
