Practice chain stitch as you create this wintery scene of six cozy birds on fir branches. This embroidery design is the first in a new series of seasonal bird projects! This kit is absolutely beginner friendly and the included diagrams and online video tutorial will help you create unique embroidery art to decorate your walls with or to give as a holiday gift. Put on a sweater, grab a cup of tea, and get winter stitching!

Hand embroidery needles
Seven skeins of DMC cotton embroidery floss
Color printed embroidery pattern
A copy of the Beginner Guide
Your purchase includes the Winter Birds embroidery pattern and a copy of my beginner guide. The simple embroidery pattern includes a link to the video tutorial on YouTube, stitch and color keys, a color close up photo of stitched pattern and the design sized for a 6 inch hoop ready to trace for future projects (shrink or enlarge to meet your needs).
The beginner guide includes a supplies list with suggested products based off of my experience, tips on how to get started, including pattern transfer suggestions for future projects, plus diagrams of stitches. The beginner guide can also be found onlinehere with helpful videos, plus you can find some additional tutorialshere.
*My kits do not include hand embroidery scissors but I do offer aselection. You may want to invest in a high quality embroidery hoop if you have trouble maintaining tension with the included hoop. I bind my hoops with fabric or fabric tape to help, but you may find plastic, metal or high quality wood hoops easier to use. You can then use the wooden hoop included in the kit for framing your finished work.
This pattern is for personal use only. Please do not copy or resell finished product.
